      Murals have always been a grand way to bring life and beauty to any space. From the great pyramids of Egypt through the frescoes of the Renaissance and into the contemporary gigantic trompe l'oeil effects in buildings façades, murals have stood the test of time. As an artist, I want  to be able to bring those times back to our modern world, creating  unique and lasting works of art.

    All the murals are original hand painted artworks using traditional means of solid draftsmanship and a mastery of color, form and space. A list of my clients  include corporations, schools, hotels, historical estates and public spaces, as well as private residences.

The Process

• The process begins with a meeting. Tailoring the design to fit the needs of the client and the space is a collaborative task. At this point the client can learn more about my work and I can learn more about the space as it relates to subject matter, theme and the atmosphere desired. Providing an estimate usually depends on the specifics of the project.

• The second stage are the studies and preparatory sketches. This is essential for commissioned work, as it allows the client to understand and approve the proposal, or to suggest changes at a time when they can easily be incorporated in the design. Only when the client is satisfied does the actual painting process begins. On request I can make a special research on a given theme or create sketches and decorative projects in different styles (Pompeian, Renaissance, Baroque, 18th Century). 

• The final work as well as the decoration of any interior can be carried out either on canvas in my studio, where it will be prepared with a special flexible plaster which gives it the appearance of a fresco or mural, or painted directly on the wall. They can also be set up on a rigid panel, framed and be pasted onto the wall or ceiling in no more time than is needed to install ordinary wallpaper or tapestry. The artwork is easy to clean and long lasting .
